Kia Orana from the Little Polynesian. We are the Cook Islands’ most intimate luxury boutique resort with just ten over-the-beach and four garden Pia Tiare (villas) on a beautiful stretch of white sandy beach. Little Polynesian is committed to providing the ultimate Cook Islands experience through outstanding personalised service that surpasses your expectations.
Our small luxury hideaway in Titikaveka on the island of Rarotonga overlooks a gorgeous white sandy swimming beach with excellent snorkelling offshore and there are free kayaks to explore the turquoise lagoon. Our no child policy ensures absolute privacy - making it the ideal place for honeymoons and romantic breaks. All rooms are non-smoking.
Our Are Nui (main concourse) will serve as your greeting area, activity planning center and command central lies adjourned to our dining facility. As you enter you will find it impossible to keep your eyes from gazing out at our Infinity Pool which blends so gracefully into the magnificent ocean behind it.
Another Little Polynesian touch is the fresh scent of flowers which pervades the air and seemingly fills every corner with an aromatic delight.
Swim for Health and Wellness
Our Infinity Pool features elegant lounge chairs and spacious umbrellas to regulate the amount of tropical sun you wish to receive. It is situated directly behind our Are Nui which allows for instant catering to your every delight. We have deliberately chosen to use salt water to avoid the harsh effects of chemical treated pools and for additional to the health benefits derived from your swim time.
Fine Dining In Your Own Setting
A typical day at Little Polynesian begins with a “Tropical Island Breakfast” delivered to your room every morning. This delightful start to the day consists of local fruit (in season), yogurt, honey, toast, cereal tea or coffee. At midday lunch brings a wonderful variety of salads and bistro style options.
When evening beckons in addition to our bistro style café/restaurant, our menu consists of an eclectic mix of freshly caught seafood, beef and lamb and vegetarian options. You can choose to dine in our main facility while overlooking the magical lagoon or you just might opt for a special room dinner with a more intimate setting on your own veranda with more private but similarly striking views.
We also offer 24 hour companion room service for those who feel the need for a late night snack or nourishment.
A Resort Bar For Refreshments
Sample exotic tropical cocktails at our bar... Our friendly staff will surely mix the perfect concoction for your pleasure. Our evening setting is both intimate and natural with a perfect blend of romance, sea and evening moonlight and starlight as well prepared by Nature as your cocktail by our staff. Cheers!
When The Night Calls
The nightlife of Rarotonga is remarkably diverse. There exists many options for dining, dancing, or cultural entertainment all within a short distance’s drive. While visiting the Cook Island’s one would be greatly remised to have not experienced a traditional dance show spectacular as Cook Island dancers are generally regarded as perhaps the South Pacific’s finest.
