Little Polynesian Resort is approximately a 20-25-minute drive from Rarotonga Airport.

Does Little Polynesian Resort offer airport transfers?
Airport transfers can be pre-arranged through Raro Tours, our third-party transfer provider. Please provide your flight number and arrival time at least three days in advance. Charges will apply.

What other transport is available from Rarotonga Airport?
A limited number of taxis are available at the airport, or you can pre-book a rental car for airport collection.

How do I book Little Polynesian Resort?

What time is check-in and check-out at Little Polynesian Resort?
Check-in is from 2pm and check-out is by 10am.

Can I request early check-in or late check-out at Little Polynesian Resort?
Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may incur a fee. To guarantee access outside standard hours, we recommend booking an additional night.

Can Little Polynesian Resort store my luggage?
Guest Services can store your luggage before check-in or after check-out. Registered guests may continue to use resort facilities until departure.

Can I request a specific room number or location at Little Polynesian Resort?
We can note preferred room numbers or locations, but they cannot be guaranteed and remain subject to availability at check-in.

 

Rooms and Facilities

Are kayaks provided at Little Polynesian Resort?
Complimentary kayaks are available for resort guests.

Does Little Polynesian Resort have a gym?
Little Polynesian Resort does not have a gym or fitness centre on site. Our team can provide information about local gyms.

Can beds at Little Polynesian Resort be configured as twins?
Garden Studios can be configured as either one king bed or twin beds. Beachfront Bungalows can only be configured as one king bed and cannot be split. Please advise your preference when booking.

Is Little Polynesian Resort suitable for guests with mobility needs?
Little Polynesian Resort does not have dedicated accessible rooms or purpose-built accessible facilities. Some areas include steps or uneven surfaces. Please tell us about your mobility requirements before booking so we can advise you.

Does Little Polynesian Resort offer day passes?
Due to the intimate size of the resort, the pool and resort facilities are reserved for registered in-house guests. Non-resident guests are welcome to dine at the restaurant with an advance reservation.

Do rooms at Little Polynesian Resort have bathtubs?
No. Garden Studios and Beachfront Bungalows have walk-in showers rather than bathtubs.

Do rooms at Little Polynesian Resort have coffee machines?
Yes. A Nespresso coffee machine is provided in each room.

Can I drink the tap water at Little Polynesian Resort?
We recommend drinking the filtered water provided in your room rather than tap water. Tap water is suitable for showering and brushing your teeth.

 

Dining

Do I need a restaurant reservation if I am staying at Little Polynesian Resort?
We will always cater for our resident guests. However, we recommend booking to secure your preferred mealtime, especially during peak periods and over Christmas and New Year.

Can non-guests dine at Little Polynesian Resort?
Yes. Non-resident guests are welcome to dine at the restaurant, subject to availability. We recommend booking breakfast, lunch and dinner in advance.

Does Little Polynesian Resort cater for dietary requirements?
Yes. Please tell us about your dietary requirements or allergies when booking so our kitchen can prepare accordingly.

Can Little Polynesian Resort arrange a special-occasion table or celebration?
We do not offer special-occasion table setups in the restaurant.

Is Little Polynesian Resort open for dining on Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve?
Yes. The restaurant remains open throughout the festive season and continues to offer its normal à la carte dining experience.

 

General

Is Wi-Fi free at Little Polynesian Resort?
Yes, all registered guests at Little Polynesian Resort receive complimentary unlimited Wi-Fi.

Can children stay at Little Polynesian Resort?
No. Little Polynesian Resort is an adults-only resort for guests aged 18 years and over.

Are bicycles available at Little Polynesian Resort?
Bicycles are not available directly at the resort, but Guest Services can assist with arranging bike hire through local providers.

Can I hire a car while staying at Little Polynesian Resort?
Yes. Car hire is available through local providers including Avis Cook Islands and Polynesian Rental Cars and can be booked directly with the rental company.

Does Little Polynesian Resort have a spa?
There is no spa onsite at Little Polynesian Resort. Guests can book treatments at Pacific Lounge at Pacific Resort Rarotonga, subject to availability. Guest Services can assist with arrangements.

Can I store luggage before check-in or after check-out?
Yes. We are happy to store your luggage before check-in or after check-out so you can continue to enjoy the resort or explore the island.

Is there a power point near the bed for a CPAP machine or medical equipment?
Yes. Rooms have power points accessible from the bed area. If you have specific equipment or placement requirements, please let us know before arrival.

I left something behind at the resort. How can I get it back?
Please contact us with your room number, stay dates and a description of the item. We will do our best to locate it and arrange return. Postage costs may apply.
